Franziska Krötenheerdt

Franziska Krötenheerdt was born in Halle an der Saale and grew up in Berlin. She studied singing at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar with Prof. Hruba-Freiberger. Immediately after completing her studies, she was hired to the Erfurt Theater, where she already drew attention to herself in numerous specialist roles. This is followed by permanent engagements at the Vorpommern Theater and at the Bremerhaven City Theater. Guest engagements have led the soprano to the Eisenach Theater, the Halle Opera (Goethe-Theater Bad Lauchstädt), the Bremerhaven City Theater, the Braunschweig State Theater, the Aachen Theater, the Cottbus Theater, the Volksbühne Jena and the Seefestspiele Berlin in recent years.
