Swedish mezzo-soprano Karin Lovelius has become well known for her intense interpretations of roles in the dramatic mezzo-soprano repertoire. She has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Oper Leipzig, Semperoper Dresden, Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse, Malmö Opera, the Royal Opera House, Sweden, the Odense Concert Hall, the Finnish National Opera, the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, the Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Theater Chemnitz and the Gothenburg Opera.
