Korea Coop Orchestra, founded as Korea's first cooperative orchestra, is growing into a private orchestra representing Korea by breaking away from the traditional orchestra hierarchy and pursuing independent, self-reliant, and autonomous performance activities.

Members of the Korea Coop Orchestra strive for their own development and work together to create an organizational culture of self-responsibility. In addition, the orchestra's main agenda, in which everyone has an equal relationship and is discussed through fair and democratic procedures, is leading to qualitative improvements in musicality and administrative power.

The Korea COOP Orchestra is regularly invited by major performance halls such as the Seoul Arts Center, Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, Goyang Aram Nuri, and Seongnam Arts Center, as well as major arts organizations such as the National Opera, National Choir, and Universal Ballet, and performs about 90 performances every year. It also contributes to the balanced development of various performing arts.

Upon its founding in October 2014, it participated in the opera <Aida 1963> at La Scala in Milan commemorating the 130th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Italy. In 2017, it participated in the Contemporary Performing Arts Festival of the National Asia Culture Center, one of the three major opera theaters in Berlin, Germany. Appeared in Komische Oper Berlin’s masterpiece, The Magic Flute. The National Opera collaborates with the National Opera on a wide range of repertoire, from traditional operas such as <Rusalka> and <Evening Prayer in Sicily> to original operas such as <Red Pants>. Starting in 2021, Universal Ballet will meet ballet lovers with various works such as <Don Quixote>, <Giselle>, and <The Nutcracker>. For

five years from 2015 to 2019, she appeared in the Matinee Concert at Poeun Art Hall in Yongin, performing classical music. They have contributed to expanding the base, and are also appearing on stage at the Seoul Arts Center's <11 O'clock Concert> and <Saturday Concert>, and the Goyang Aram Nuri Matinee Concert.

We are continuously performing animation concerts such as <Pixar in Concert>, <Disney in Concert>, <Dreamworks in Concert>, <Beauty and the Beast in Concert>, and <Cocoin Concert>, and we produce music for movies such as <Harry Potter in Concert>. We are also interacting with the public through.

In 2022, Korea Coop Orchestra was selected as a resident arts organization at Chungmu Arts Center, contributing to expanding opportunities for the local community to enjoy culture and arts.

At the same time as it was founded in October 2014, the orchestra participated in the opera 《Aida 1963》 of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan to commemorate the 130th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Italy, and in 2017, they were on stage in 《Magic Flute》 of Komische Oper Berlin, one of the three major opera theaters in Berlin, at Asia Culture Center. Since 2015, it has been performing a wide range of repertoires from authentic operas such as 《Rusalka》 to contemporary operas such as 《Red Pants》 with the Korea National Opera and staged Evening Prayer on the Island of Sicily as a regular performance in 2022. Following 《Don Quixote》, 《Giselle》, and 《Nutcracker》 with the Universal Ballet in 2021 and 2022, it is meeting ballet lovers with various works in 2023.

It has contributed to expanding the base of classical music by appearing at the 《Matinee Concert》 at Poeun Art Hall in Yongin for five years, and has also been on the stage of the Seoul Arts Center's 《11:00 Concert》, 《Saturday Concert》, and Goyang Aram Nuri's 《Matinee Concert》.

It is consistently on stage with animation concerts such as 《Pixar in Concert》, 《Disney in Concert》, 《DreamWorks in Concert》, 《Beauty and the Beast in Concer》t and 《Coco in Concert》, also working with the public through film music such as 《Harry Potter in Concert》.

The Korea Coop Orchestra had been selected as a resident orchestra in 2022 at the Chungmu Art Center, contributed to the expansion of opportunities for local communities to enjoy culture and arts.
