1'Tosca' with surprise, Veronesi leaves the podium in the first act. Enrico Vanzina: "Crazy"
"It was for me a very eventful opera directorial debut, with a twist that not even Sardou would have imagined (Victorien Sardou, the French playwright author of 'La Tosca' from which Puccini's opera is based, Ed.). Fortunately - underlines the director - there was maestro Lorenzo Castriota who got on the podium and conducted in place of Veronesi. The orchestra played very well and in the end it was a huge success".
