At the end of the festival week for the orchestra's anniversary, the Nuremberg State Philharmonic will premiere a work specially commissioned for this occasion: Lera Auerbach's 5th Symphony, in which she deals with Eve from the Old Testament. In addition, the soprano Marlis Petersen, who began her international career here at the Staatstheater, is returning to Nuremberg to celebrate this special day together with the Staatsphilharmonie and works by Richard Strauss.

Zum Abschluss der Festwoche zum Orchesterjubiläum bringt die Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg ein eigens für diesen Anlass in Auftrag gegebenes Werk zur Uraufführung: Die 5. Symphonie von Lera Auerbach, in der diese sich mit der alttestamentarischen Eva beschäftigt. Außerdem kehrt die Sopranistin Marlis Petersen, die ihre heutige Weltkarriere hier am Staatstheater begonnen hat, nach Nürnberg zurück, um gemeinsam mit der Staatsphilharmonie und Werken von Richard Strauss diesen besonderen Tag zu feiern.
