Anyone who plays or learns an instrument knows them, the accidentals. As sharps or »B«s they are at the beginning of a piece and can, depending on the mood, cause frustration or amusement when learning the same, if what is being played does not sound as it should. But why are there different tones at all? Wouldn't the musical world be much simpler with C major and A minor? Why are composers chasing musicians through the entire circle of fifths and why are there two tones, major and minor, between which the keys are divided? Has a musical theme, e.g. B. that of a symphony, in D major a different effect than in C / E flat or F sharp major? We will get to the bottom of these and other questions in the children's concert.

Jeder, der ein Instrument spielt oder lernt, kennt sie, die Vorzeichen. Als Kreuze oder »B«s stehen sie am Anfang eines Stückes und können beim Erlernen desselben je nach Laune für Frust oder Erheiterung sorgen, wenn das Gespielte nicht so klingt, wie es eigentlich sollte. Aber warum gibt es überhaupt verschiedene Tonarten? Wäre nicht mit C-Dur und a-Moll die musikalische Welt viel einfacher? Warum jagen Komponist* innen Musiker*innen durch den gesamten Quintenzirkel und warum gibt es überhaupt die beiden Tongeschlechter Dur und Moll, auf die sich die Tonarten verteilen? Hat ein musikalisches Thema, z. B. das einer Symphonie, in D-Dur eine andere Wirkung als in C-/Es- oder Fis-Dur? Diesen und anderen Fragen werden wir in dem Kinderkonzert auf den Grund gehen.
