Handel's master oratorio has been inspiring audiences for three centuries, whether in its original form or in one of the many arrangements. One of the most successful is certainly Quincy Jones' "Handel's Messiah: A Soulful Celebration" from 1992. We present a new interpretation in which the festive baroque sounds of the original alternate with rhythms from jazz, spirituals, gospel and reggae. In this way, two contrasting tonal languages ​​are juxtaposed within this famous work and brought together to form a new work of art. A special highlight of the performance will certainly be the brilliant soul setting by the Hallelujah choir.
