The song singing appears more intensely in the Advent season than over the course of the year. And after the pandemic-related silence last year, the Advent and Christmas carols penetrate all the more emotionally this time from the throats of the singers into the ears and hearts. The opera choir has prepared a selection of the most beautiful, both familiar and unusual, choral songs and Christmas motets for its long-missed audience. This is complemented by the pleasant, full sounds of the organ in artistic song and chorale arrangements. Choir parts and organ combined finally celebrate an almost perfect Christmas anticipation.
