All about Mozart: Concert Version of Mozart's The Magic Flute
On this concert, vocalists Su Dawei, Wan Dan, Gan Lulu and many powerful singing artists will bring forth Mozart's The Magic Flute, and helps the audiences enjoy the fantastic audio-visual art. Mozart is one of the greatest musicians in the global classical music history. Throughout his young and short life, he created more than musical works including symphonies, sonatas, chamber music, concertos and operas, many of which are classics in the classical music history. The Magic Flute is Mozart's last opera work, which was premiered under the baton of the composer in Vienna in 1791. Since then, this opera has been staged all over the world, which have been ever-increasingly popular. The year of 2011 also coincides with bicentennial of premiere for the The Magic Flute. During Mozart's lifetime, countless classic works spread in the world. As one of Mozart's most outstanding three operas, The Magic Flute is adapted from a fairy tale created by the poet Wieland. The music perfectly combines mysterious and holy religious and clear-cut and cheerful secularity. Active attitude towards life and courage in pursuit of light are important reasons for the opera to be widely popular with the audiences throughout the world. The Magic Flute also presents a lot of classical arias, in which the lively and flexible Der Vogelfanger Bin Ich Ja follows the ballad as keynote, and vividly depicts its joyful nature. Duet Bei Mannern, welche Liebe fuhlen is also a classical aria which fully demonstrates Mozart's softness and romantics. On this concert, Su Dawei plays the role of tenor protagonist Tamino, Wan Dan plays the role of Pamina, and Gan Lulu plays the role of Queen of the Night. Moreover, many powerful singers present themselves. This concert will certainly take a full delight to your ears with wonderful opera.
