Arguably the most famous film about classical music, Amadeus (1984) is an opulent period epic and winner of eight Academy Awards® including Best Picture. Directed by Miloš Forman (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest) and written by Sir Peter Shaffer, the film tells the story of vindictive composer Antonio Salieri (F.
