Ahead of his appearance at the Plaza Classic Film Festival in El Paso, Texas, F. Murray Abraham sat for an interview on his famous role in Amadeus, his experience working with the late Miloš Forman and more. Screenings of Amadeus will come to Symphony Center, with the CSO and Chorus performing in sync with the film, on October 13-16.

Experience the Academy Award-winning 1984 film on screen while Mozart’s celebrated works are performed live by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. This riveting film classic tells a story of envy between Vienna court composer Antonio Salieri (F. Murray Abraham) and the raffish but gifted young Mozart (Tom Hulce).
