지난 2005년 창단되어 한국을 대표하는 바로크연주단체로 중요한 바로크시대의 보석과 같은 작품을 연주해온 바흐솔리스텐서울, 2018년에 헨델의 메시아, 더블린 (Dublin) 초연판을 무대에 올립니다. 한국에서는 주로 연말에 연주되는 메시아는 영국의 더블린에서 1742년 4월 13일 사순절 기간 중에 초연되었습니다. 당시처럼 합창단을 16명으로 구성하여 소규모 연주장에서 재현합니다. 이번에는 일본 고음악계의 신성인 마사토 스즈키의 지휘로, 젊은 한일 음악가들의 음악적 화합의 장을 마련할 것입니다. 인류에게 가장 큰 영향을 미친 예수의 탄생과 생애, 그리고 부활을 담은 대서사시 메시아! 사순절에 인류애와 구원에 대한 깊은 감동과 묵상의 시간으로 여러분을 초대합니다.

Bach Solisten Seoul, which was founded in 2005 and has performed gem-like works of the important Baroque era as Korea's leading baroque performance group, will stage the Dublin premiere of Handel's Messiah in 2018. The Messiah, which is usually performed at the end of the year in Korea, was first performed in Dublin, England, on April 13, 1742, during Lent. As at that time, the choir consists of 16 people and is recreated in a small concert hall. This time, under the conductor of Masato Suzuki, a leading figure in Japanese early music, it will provide a venue for musical harmony between young Korean and Japanese musicians.
