Be Opera is a musical experience for the whole family. Full of humor and drama, actor Ton Meijer tells about what it is like to love opera as a child and about the fear of not being taken for granted. While you experience how Ton confronts his class, you become acquainted with indestructible opera fragments.

 

XL VERSION
Ton Meijer has already created various music theater performances for young audiences together with soprano Marijje van Stralen. For Be Opera they joined forces with Dutch National Opera, based on the shared desire to pass on the love for opera to a new generation. Be Opera plays in small musical ensembles in schools and theaters throughout the country. In our own theater we present an 'XL version', with an ensemble of musicians from the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra.
