We invite viewers aged 6-12 to the performance.

A chamber opera for children with a text by Malina Prześluga, a leading Polish playwright, composed by Jerzy Fryderyk Wojciechowski, is a blow to those who claim that opera must be, above all, beautiful. A well-coordinated group of producers and a colorful band of insect singers prove that it can also be wise and touching. And fun!

The characters include a wasp without a sting, a spider without legs, two not-so-clean cockroaches and a plus-size pupa - all with little self-confidence and ostracized by society. The group is joined by the Queen's Page - a revolutionary, convicted of disbelief in the Queen. There is also Ble, but it's better not to talk about it at all. The Queen's Page also sparks a revolution, causing each of the insecure characters to discover their talent and gain confidence in their own abilities, and at the same time learn that the imperfections they see in themselves do not have to define them. And what does Page gain? A queen who appears just when she is needed most! …although in a rather surprising form.

Musically, the piece is a dialogue between contemporary opera music and well-known references to pop music, despite the creative transformation, recognizable to the listener. The chamber orchestra (violin, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet, bassoon, percussion instruments) is led by a witty and spirited conductor who adds more than 3 cents to the performance. A work planned in this way is an excellent introduction to the world of opera, which is often perceived as hermetic and incomprehensible to children. "Bleee..." proves that opera is close to the imagination of a child, who is often interested in what remains unnoticeable to adults. And the fact that the adult is also having a lot of fun doesn't bother us at all. 

PS. The theater is not responsible for uncontrolled humming or making noises borrowed from cockroaches immediately after leaving the performance and many days later.
