Berlin. In the early 1930s. A real world city where anything can and does happen. Homeless adventurers, those obsessed with desire, hope and freedom meet here. In the dark heart of the city, night after night, the extravagant singer Sally Bowles, who came here from America, performs night after night on the bite-sized stage of a shabby local. Chance brings her together with Cliff Bradshaw, a young, ambitious writer from England, and they fall in love. Love also finds the innkeeper Miss Schneider and her ever-faithful knight, Mr. Schultz, the greengrocer. Life is still wonderful, there is still peace...

The legendary musical and the world-famous film made from it with Liza Minnelli in the lead role are a great experience for many of us. When we hear the title, we immediately hum the popular songs Ananász, Money-Money, Mein Herr and Kabaré.

A szerelem rátalál a panziótulajdonosnő Schneider kisasszonyra, és örökké hű lovagjára, Schultz úrra, a zöldség-kiskereskedőre is. Az élet még csodálatos, még béke van...
