With his often drastic depictions of biblical figures, Caravaggio was to revolutionize art history around 1600. At the same time he had a high level of criminal energy. The internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble Cappella Mariana from Prague and Hana Blažíková are now dedicating a gripping sound portrait to this early baroque master. Because even when it comes to painting projections, Caravaggio follows his most important artistic paths and life stages with the help of groundbreaking works by Monteverdi and Gesualdo, for example.
