The scenic cantata of the German composer Carl Orff from 1936 is considered one of the most evocative musical-instrumental works. The setting to music of the medieval poetic code of the Benedictine monastery of Beuern in Bavaria, which sets a series of secular songs of the flourishing European space, still urges artists to new interpretations. A few years ago, Reinhard Summerer, on the initiative of the artistic director of Graz's Studio Percussion, undertook a reworking, which places the instrumental part on the expanded sonority of as many as nineteen percussionists. The first performance was in 2019 in Graz, with the participation of soloists and a hundred-member choir. The performance was led by the Maribor conductor Rahela Durič Barić, and her initiative of re-staging was enthusiastically received by the Tone Tomšič Academic Choir.

Scenska kantata nemškega skladatelja Carla Orffa iz leta 1936 velja za eno najbolj sugestivnih glasbeno-inštrumentalnih del. Uglasbitev srednjeveškega pesniškega kodeksa benediktinskega samostana Beuern na Bavarskem, ki niza posvetne pesmi razmahnjenega evropskega prostora, še danes nagovarja umetnike k novim interpretacijam. Pred nekaj leti se je Reinhard Summerer na pobudo umetniškega vodje graškega Studio Percussion lotil predelave, ki inštrumentalni delež naslanja na razširjeno zvočnost kar devetnajstih tolkalcev. Prva izvedba je bila leta 2019 v Gradcu, ob sodelovanju solistov in stočlanskega zbora. Izvedbo je vodila mariborska dirigentka Rahela Durič Barić in njeno pobudo o ponovni postavitvi je Akademski pevski zbor Tone Tomšič sprejel z navdušenjem.
