Večerní písně Antonína Dvořáka vznikly pro zpěv a klavír. Magdalena Kožená je tak také nejprve prováděla, ale později požádala českého skladatele Jiřího Gemrota o jejich instrumentaci. Vznikl tak výběr, který zazní na těchto abonentních koncertech a k němuž přibyly ještě dvě písně z opusu č. 2. Jiří Gemrot instrumentoval i Ukolébavku Gideona Kleina, zatímco Čtyři orchestrální písně Hanse Krásy mají originální instrumentaci. „Jsem moc zvědavá na to, jak písně budou znít a jak se budou líbit publiku,“ svěřila se Magdalena Kožená.

Evening songs by Antonín Dvořák were created for voice and piano. Magdalena Kožená also performed them at first, but later asked the Czech composer Jiří Gemrot for their instrumentation. This resulted in a selection that will be heard at these subscription concerts, to which two more songs from opus No. 2 were added. Jiří Gemrot also orchestrated Gideon Klein's Lullaby, while Hans Krása's Four Orchestral Songs have original instrumentation. "I am very curious about how the songs will sound and how the audience will like them," confided Magdalena Kožená.
