Mozart's Sacrament, the Festival and Jeremiah
Rhorer continue their collaboration
with…Mozart! Famous “Jupiter” where
ignites with incredible ardor the fire of the
prodigy: sublime transition to cross the
Cape Beethoven.
Contemporary Oratorio of the Eroica, The
Christ on the Mount of Olives, don't tell
only the famous biblical episode but
makes us live in music the feelings of the
main character, humanized, almost desacralized.
After his Don Giovanni by Mozart at the
Champs-Elysées Theater, Jérémie Rhorer
performer exclusively for the Festival de
Saint-Denis, Christ on the Mount of Olives
by Beethoven, a work both rare and in
perfect match with the Basilica. This
chef, whom we have been following since 2010, now plays in the big leagues and surrounds himself
of lyrical revelations, hear in particular
the sparkling Seraphim by Julie Fuchs… A
new star, lyrical revelation at the Victoires de la Musique 2012 and which has just hit the headlines in the
title role of Ciboulette at the Opéra Comique.

Entamée en 2010 avec un cycle de musique
sacrée de Mozart, le Festival et Jérémie
Rhorer poursuivent leur collaboration
avec… Mozart ! Célébrissime « Jupiter » où
s’embrase avec une ardeur inouïe le feu du
prodige : sublime transition pour franchir le
cap beethovénien.
Oratorio contemporain de l’Héroïque, Le
Christ au Mont des Oliviers, ne raconte pas
seulement le fameux épisode biblique mais
nous fait vivre en musique les sentiments du
personnage principal, humanisé, presque désacralisé.
Après son Don Giovanni de Mozart au
Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Jérémie Rhorer
interprète en exclusivité pour le Festival de
Saint-Denis, Le Christ au Mont des Oliviers
de Beethoven, une œuvre à la fois rare et en
parfaite adéquation avec la Basilique. Ce
chef, que nous suivons depuis 2010, joue désormais dans la cour des grands et s’entoure
de révélations lyriques, entendez notamment
le Séraphin pétillant de Julie Fuchs… Une
nouvelle étoile, révélation lyrique aux Victoires de la Musique 2012 et qui vient encore de défrayer la chronique dans le
rôle-titre de Ciboulette à l’Opéra Comique.
