Crossopera ist ein im Rahmen von „Creative Europe“ gefördertes Opernprojekt der Europäischen Gemeinschaft, das drei Nationen in einer internationalen, zeitge...

Crossopera is an opera project funded by the European Community as part of "Creative Europe", which brings together three nations in an international, contemporary music theater production . All three commissioned works entitled Dream , The Flight into Egypt and What do you know about the future? deal with the eponymous topic Otherness: fear and discovery against the background of the migration movements of the present . The result is three approaches of different forms and styles, which nonetheless have a deep longing for athe concept of humanity that unites mankind is common. The authors and composers look for and find contexts that encourage us to overcome violence and distrust and, by recognizing the other person as one of our kind, to strive for a renewal of future perspectives on the basis of cross-national solidarity.
