Ein Spiel- und Ausprobierplatz für Klänge: Die Geschichte einer Freundschaft zwischen Mensch und Maschine.
Das Ding steht rum und macht gar nichts. Auf einmal pfeift es los und schüttelt sich, raucht und schnaubt und wenn man genau hinhört, dann singt es und spricht. Für die Erwachsenen ist es lauter Blech und gehört auf dem Müll, für das Kind wird es immer mehr zum Mittelpunkt seiner Welt, weil man mit dem Ding am besten spielen, träumen und lachen kann. Die Geschichte einer Freundschaft zwischen Mensch und Maschine wird zum Spiel- und Ausprobierplatz für maschinelle und menschliche Klänge.

A playground and testing ground for sounds: the story of a friendship between man and machine.
The thing stands there and does nothing. All of a sudden it whistles and shakes, smokes and snorts and if you listen closely, it sings and talks. For the adults, it is just tin and belongs on the rubbish heap, but for the child it becomes more and more the centre of his world because it is the best thing to play, dream and laugh with. The story of a friendship between man and machine becomes a playground and testing ground for machine and human sounds.
