The creative team around director Krysztof Warlikowski is linked by many years of successful collaboration, which has taken them to all of Europe's major opera houses.

At the Bavarian State Opera, the team last brought Salome to the stage in almost the same constellation in 2019 . Małgorazata Szczęśniak designed the set and costumes for the double evening Dido and Aeneas / Expectations , as he has done for all Warlikowski productions since 1992. For more than 20 years, Felice Ross has been responsible for lighting design for the team's opera productions, Kamil Polak, who won an Oscar in the animated short film category in 2008, designs the videos, and the dancer and actor Claude Bardouil takes over the motion direction in a tried and tested manner. Dramaturge Christian Longchamp, who is associated with the team on numerous projects at other houses, is working in Munich for the first time

Warlikowski is also associated with the singer who will perform both roles, Dido and the woman, Ausrine Stundyte. Together they celebrated great success with Elektra at the Salzburg Festival in 2020 . The singer has been a regular guest in Munich since 2015 and was last seen in 2021 as Regan in Reimann's Lear and in 2022 as Jeanne in Krzysztof Penderecki 's Die Teufel von Loudun .

Das Kreativteam rund um Regisseur Krysztof Warlikowski verbindet eine langjährige erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit, die sie an alle großen Opernhäuser Europas geführt hat.

An der Bayerischen Staatsoper brachte das Team in fast gleicher Konstellation zuletzt 2019 Salome auf die Bühne. Für den Doppelabend Dido and Aeneas ... Erwartung entwirft Małgorazata Szczęśniak wieder Bühne und Kostüme, wie seit 1992 für alle Inszenierungen von Warlikowski. Seit über 20 Jahren verantwortet die Lichtgestaltung Felice Ross für die Opernproduktionen des Teams, Kamil Polak, der 2008 in der Sparte Animierter Kurzfilm mit einem Oscar ausgezeichnet wurde, gestaltet die Videos, der Tänzer und Schauspieler Claude Bardouil übernimmt die Bewegungsregie in bewährter Weise. Zum ersten Mal in München arbeitet Dramaturg Christian Longchamp, den zahlreiche Projekte an anderen Häusern mit dem Team verbinden.

Auch mit der Sängerin, die beide Partien, Dido und die Frau, gestalten wird, Ausrine Stundyte ist Warlikowski verbunden. Zusammen feierten sie 2020 mit Elektra großen Erfolg bei den Salzburger Festspielen. In München ist die Sängerin seit 2015 immer wieder zu Gast und war zuletzt 2021 als Regan in Reimanns Lear zu erleben und 2022 als Jeanne in Krzysztof Pendereckis Die Teufel von Loudun.
