Istanbul State Opera and Ballet brings WAMozart's Abduction from the Palace opera with a new interpretation to Istanbul art lovers. Abduction from the Palace, which was revived with the directorship of Caner Akın, stays true to the original version of the subject, but refers to the current pandemic period and carries the subject to another epidemic period. 1918, Spanish Flu… The importance of social distance, hygiene and mask set is like the Spanish flu. Today, it has an important place in the coronavirus pandemic. Director Caner Akın, while handling these important details in the work, also points out that one of the most important elements of the classical subject, the Turks, attaches importance to compassion rather than holding grudges.
