Per il Capodanno – venerdì 30 e sabato 31 dicembre – arriva al Teatro Abbado Il Pipistrello, la più celebre operetta di Johann Strauss, composta su libretto di Carl Haffner e Richard Genée (tratta da “Le Réveillon” di Henri Meilhac e Ludovic Halévy) e la cui prima rappresentazione fu a Vienna nel 1874. Indubbiamente la più rappresentata al mondo, in Italia è ancora raro trovarla nei cartelloni teatrali ed è spesso bandita – ingiustamente – dalle grandi scene. Il Pipistrello (Die Fledermaus) si muove tra l’opera comica, la farsa con musica, il melodramma con dialoghi. Sarà presentata a Ferrara in una nuova e brillante produzione della Fondazione Teatro Comunale, che coniuga il fasto dell’allestimento alla bravura degli interpreti della compagnia Corrado Abbati.

To celebrate the end of the year at the theater to the overwhelming rhythm of Viennese waltzes and entertainment, Il Pipistrello arrives , the most famous operetta by Johann Strauss fils, composed on a libretto by Carl Haffner and Richard Genée (taken from "Le Réveillon" by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy) and whose first performance was in Vienna in 1874.
Il Pipistrello(Die Fledermaus), operetta masterpiece composed by Strauss on a libretto by Carl Haffner and Richard Genée (based on "Le Réveillon" by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy), moves between comic opera, farce with music, melodrama with dialogues . It is a hilarious comedy of misunderstandings between deceptions, jokes and disguises, which has as its center the masked party at Prince Orlofsky's house. Among a thousand ups and downs, where the rhythm of the music goes well with the rhythm of the theatrical action, the love between Gabriel von Eisenstein and his wife Rosalinde will awaken. The operetta is presented in Ferrara – in the Italian version – by the Corrado Abbati Company in a new and brilliant production by the Fondazione Teatro Comunale in collaboration with InScena production of shows.
