"Die Zauberflöte" ("The Magic Flute") is an opera in 2 acts by Mozart.     

Its premiere took place in 1791. In one year, "Die Zauberflöte" was performed in Austria 100 times. The role of Papageno was performed by the famous singer of the time – Schikaneder, and that of the Queen of the Night – by Josepha Hofer – a relative of Mozart. In November 1792, Schikaneder announced the 100th staging of the opera. Mozart himself did not attend this important event, as he died only 2 months after the premiere - on 5 December 1792. Today, the opera is one of the most frequently performed works in the opera houses around the world. The most famous parts of the opera are the duet of Papageno and Papagena and the aria of the Queen of the Night for coloratura soprano.

W.A. Mozart's last opera, “Die Zauberflöte”, is a masterpiece that holds the opera stages.

It was first presented in Vienna on 30 September 1791, under the direction of the composer, and passed with great success. Goethe liked this opera very much, calling it a "utopian and strange tale, in which human virtues are preached: love, diligence, moral perfection."

At the Sofia Opera, "Die Zauberflöte" has been staged many times, but especially for the new children's educational program an adapted version for children has been created by the stage director Yulia Krasteva, the conductor Boris Spasov and the artist Hristiana Mihaleva. The action is focused and dynamic, the plot is recreated with a lot of humor and mood, the main characters are presented with their most famous arias and ensembles.

The clash of good and evil forces, friendship and love are in the basis of the spectacle, from which flows a lot of joy, light and optimism.

Вълшебната флейта" е опера в 2 действия от Моцарт.     

Премиерата ѝ се е състояла през 1791 г.   За една година „Вълшебната флейта" се играе в Австрия 100 пъти. Ролята на Папагено се изпълнява от известния за времето певец - Шиканедер, а тази на Царицата на нощта - от Йосефа Хофер - роднина на Моцарт.  През ноември 1792 г. Шиканедер обявява 100-ното поставяне на операта. Самият Моцарт не присъства на това важно събитие, тъй като умира само 2 мес. след премиерата - на 5 декември 1792 г.     Днес операта е едно от най-често изпълняваните произведения в оперните театри по цял свят.      Най-известните части от операта са дуетът на Папагено и Папагена и арията на Царицата на нощта за колоратурен сопран. 

Последната опера на В. А. Моцарт, „Вълшебната флейта" е шедьовър, който не слиза от оперните сцени. За първи път е представена във Виена на 30 септември 1791 г., под диригентството на композитора и преминава с голям успех. Гьоте много харесва тази опера, нарича я „утопична и странна приказка, в която се проповядват човешките добродетели: любов, трудолюбие, нравствено съвършенство".

В Софийската опера „Вълшебната флейта" е поставяна многократно, но специално за новата детска образователна програма, от режисьорката Юлия Кръстева, диригентът Борис Спасов и художничката Христиана Михалева е създадена адаптирана версия за деца. Действието е съсредоточено и динамично, сюжетът е пресъздаден с много хумор и настроение, главните герои са представени с най известните си арии и ансамбли.

Сблъсъкът на добрите и зли сили, приятелството и любовта са в основата на спектакъла, от който струи много радост, светлина и оптимизъм.
