The second title of the Mozart / da Ponte trilogy, Don Giovanni , opens the opera season, after 19 months without receiving an audience in our room.

Don Giovanni is an opera inspired by a version of Giuseppe Gazzaniga's Juan Tenorio, to which the composer and librettist print unquestionable originality. A work in which, despite the comic elements, the moral weight of the protagonist's actions finally has a tragic dimension.

Hailed as the “opera of operas” by Richard Wagner, Don Giovanni , by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, contains one of the composer's most brilliant symphonic pages: the Overture, a piece of extraordinary force that combines humor with tragedy. In this work, the author takes some of the musical motifs and develops them majestically, such as Leporello's Aria and “Dalla sua pace”, sung by Don Octavio. A metaphysical work that explores with infinite care the eroticism of death and a man who, rebellious to preconceived ideas, sets off on a race to the end.
