Don Giovanni or Don Juan: a name that has left a deep mark on cultural history. Seducer, bon vivant, philosopher, perfect lover – and, if you look at him closely, an exemplary anti-hero due to his vices: rapist, murderer, liar, exploiter, cheat – with whom we surprisingly also feel sympathy. This work, celebrated as the opera of all operas, which Mozart himself conducted to its premiere in Prague in 1787, rounds off the Mozart Da Ponte cycle with the National Theatre Prague.
