The poignant fate of the teenage drug addict Christiane F. and her peers, many of whom, unable to break their addiction, end their lives tragically, for years have made an extremely strong impression on many generations. We, the children of the ZOO station,  are a world bestseller, which invariably moves in the form of a book and a film adaptation, and the story told by the main character does not lose its relevance.

The performance  Children from the ZOO station  is an impression on the most important themes in the book and film. Contemporary dance as a means of expression is able to look at this story from a different angle and show what has perhaps escaped the audience's attention so far. The drama of the performance will be complemented by the unforgettable music of David Bowie, as well as alternative compositions by Icelandic artist Valgeir Sigurosson and experimental pieces from  The Chopin Project by  Ólafur Arnalds and Alice Sarah Ott. The author of the script, choreography and staging is the outstanding choreographer Robert Glumbek, who received the title of the Best Choreographer in Poland 2018 (XIII J. Kiepura Theater Music Award) for his realization.

Przejmujące losy nastoletniej narkomanki Christiane F. i jej rówieśników, z których wielu, nie mogąc zerwać z nałogiem, kończy swe życie tragicznie, od lat wywierają niezwykle mocne wrażenie na wielu pokoleniach. My, dzieci z dworca ZOO to światowy bestseller, który w formie książki i filmowej adaptacji niezmiennie porusza, a historia opowiadana przez główną bohaterkę nie traci na aktualności.

Spektakl Dzieci z dworca ZOO to impresja na temat najważniejszych wątków poruszonych w książce i filmie. Taniec współczesny jako środek wyrazu jest w stanie spojrzeć na tę opowieść z innej strony i pokazać to, co do tej pory być może umknęło uwadze odbiorców. Dramaturgię spektaklu dopełni niezapomniana muzyka Davida Bowiego, a także alternatywne kompozycje islandzkiego twórcy Valgeira Sigurossona i eksperymentalne utwory z The Chopin Project Ólafura Arnaldsa i Alice Sary Ott. Autorem scenariusza, choreografii i inscenizacji jest wybitny choreograf Robert Glumbek, który za swoją realizację otrzymał tytuł Najlepszego Choreografa w Polsce 2018 r. (XIII Teatralna Nagroda Muzyczna im. J. Kiepury).
