With well-loved melodies in intertwined vocal vocals, the duo Simon & Garfunkel has spread widely throughout the world. It is a unique interplay between two voices - where it is sometimes almost impossible to tell who is carrying the melody. Based on their fascination for this perfect voice song, Fredrik Berglund and Simon Ljungman have created this tribute concert for a large amateur choir.  

In this choral concert, it is not just two voices that get to shine in the songs. Here they are performed by everything from a duo, quartet or smaller vocal ensemble to a large choir with hundreds of singers - and perhaps the whole salon bursts into song. This is guaranteed to be a concert out of the ordinary.  

With their playful manner, Fredrik Berglund and Simon Ljungman inspire both singers and musicians as well as the audience to great singing and playing joy.

The concert is carried out in collaboration between Gothenburg Opera and Simon Ljungman and Fredrik Berglund.

Med älskade melodier i sammanflätad stämsång har duon Simon & Garfunkel fått stor spridning i världen. Det är ett unikt samspel mellan två röster – där det ibland är nästan omöjligt att avgöra vem som bär melodin. Utifrån sin fascination för denna fulländade stämsång har Fredrik Berglund och Simon Ljungman skapat denna hyllningskonsert för stor amatörkör.  

I denna körkonsert är det inte bara två röster som får lysa i sångerna. Här framförs de av allt från en duo, kvartett eller mindre sångensemble till en stor kör med hundratals sångare – och kanske brister hela salongen ut i sång. Detta är garanterat en konsert utöver det vanliga.  

Med sitt lekfulla sätt inspirerar Fredrik Berglund och Simon Ljungman såväl sångare och musiker som publik till stor sång- och spelglädje.

Konserten genomförs i samarbete mellan GöteborgsOperan samt Simon Ljungman och Fredrik Berglund.
