In October 2020, Guillaume Tourniaire performed for the first time on our stage, directing Hamlet by Ambroise Thomas in Cyril Teste's spectacular staging. Unfortunately, the health crisis forced us to cancel this production just after the dress rehearsal... Nevertheless , our teams were able, during rehearsals, to fully appreciate its affinity with French opera. It is with a program articulated around Hamlet that the Maestro returns to us for this concert: a great way to take advantage, through streaming, of part of the work done around this little jewel of French opera. With the Belgian soloists Jodie Devos , Marc Laho and Lionel Lhote , also connoisseurs of this repertoire, the Maestro will also present a selection of arias and scenes from French romantic opera, through works by Bizet, Massenet and Adam .
