The Verbier Festival Academy's Atelier Lyrique and the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra, conducted by Stanislav Kochanovsky, perform Humperdinck’s fairytale opera Hansel and Gretel, based on a libretto by Adelheid Wette after the Grimm brothers' celebrated tale!

For this fabulous concert, live from the Salle des Combins during the Verbier Festival 2022, the ensemble of young singers offers a special version of Humperdinck’s "sacred children's festival", staged by Tim Carroll, a delightful and joyous blend of solemnity and lightness, with innovative orchestral writing perfectly harmonizing with the numerous popular melodies of the work.
