In 1893, the composer Engelbert Humperdinck created the opera Hansel and Gretel in Weimar , based on the famous tale by the Brothers Grimm: gone into the forest to pick strawberries, a brother and a sister go deep into the woods and discover a house made of bread of spice where they will have to face a witch... Today, the illustrator Lorenzo Mattotti projects on giant screen the drawings of the album which inspired him the tale and other images which it carries out live. Also on stage, Nadia Fabrizio tells the story while two pianists perform excerpts from Humperdinck's music. Guaranteed immersion in the heart of a dark forest, to meet a fearsome witch. An enchanting show for young and old.

En 1893, le compositeur Engelbert Humperdinck crée à Weimar l’opéra Hansel et Gretel, tiré du célébrissime conte des frères Grimm : partis dans la forêt cueillir des fraises, un frère et une sœur s’enfoncent dans les bois et découvrent une maison en pain d’épice où ils vont devoir affronter une sorcière... Aujourd’hui, l’illustrateur Lorenzo Mattotti projette sur écran géant les dessins de l’album que lui a inspiré le conte et d’autres images qu’il réalise en direct. Également sur scène, Nadia Fabrizio raconte l’histoire tandis que deux pianistes interprètent des extraits de la musique de Humperdinck. Immersion garantie au cœur d’une sombre forêt, à la rencontre d’une redoutable sorcière. Un spectacle envoûtant pour petits et grands.
