Hartmut Rohde, violist and conductor, Jens Peter Maintz, cellist - as soloists, chamber musicians and with orchestras they perform worldwide, they teach as professors at the Berlin Universität der Künste, among others. With the Orchestre de Berlin, they pay tribute to Ursula Mamlok on her 100th birthday.
Born in Berlin, she fled Nazi persecution in 1939 and spent 66 years working in the USA. She spent the last years of her life back in Berlin. Haydn's sense of virtuosity and transparency and Brahms' concentrated tonal language acted as models for her.

Hartmut Rohde, Bratschist und Dirigent, Jens Peter Maintz, Cellist – als Solisten, Kammermusiker und mit Orchestern konzertieren sie weltweit, sie lehren als Professoren u. a. an der Universität der Künste Berlin. Mit dem Orchestre de Berlin würdigen sie Ursula Mamlok zum 100. Geburtstag.
In Berlin geboren, floh sie 1939 vor der NS-Verfolgung, 66 Jahre wirkte sie in den USA. Ihre letzten Lebensjahre verbrachte sie wieder in Berlin. Haydns Sinn für Virtuosität und Transparenz und Brahms' konzentrierte Tonsprache wirkten für sie als Vorbild.
