Figaro is not only the best barber in town, but also a playmaker, intrigue man and jack of all trades. With calculated chaos and all sorts of masquerades, he manages to free Rosina from the hands of her guardian Bartolo and bring her together with the beautiful Count Almaviva. In the staging by director and puppeteer Nikolaus Habjan, artful snap-mouth puppets come into the limelight. The characters develop a deep human psyche and become equal play partners of the singers. The production celebrates the 15th anniversary of the opera studio OperAvenir

OperAvenir spielt Rossini-Oper als Figurentheater

Figaro ist nicht nur der beste Barbier der Stadt, sondern auch Spielmacher, Intrigenspinner und Tausendsassa. Mit kalkuliertem Chaos und vielerlei Maskerade schafft er es, Rosina aus den Händen ihres Vormunds Bartolo zu befreien und sie mit dem schönen Grafen Almaviva zusammenzubringen. In der Inszenierung von Regisseur und Figurenspieler Nikolaus Habjan treten kunstvolle Klappmaulpuppen ins Rampenlicht. Die Figuren entwickeln eine tiefe menschliche Psyche und werden zu ebenbürtigen Spielpartner* innen der Sänger*innen. Die Produktion feiert das 15-jährige Bestehen des Opernstudios OperAvenir.
