Un vero spettacolo di opera lirica, con cantanti professionisti e orchestra, a cui la platea parteciperà attivamente cantando alcune arie.
 
La prima volta che incontriamo Figaro nell’opera di Rossini lo vediamo dirigersi di corsa verso la sua bottega. È l’alba e il nuovo giorno sta per iniziare, come sempre ricco di mille avventure.
Chi di noi non vorrebbe curiosare nella bottega di Figaro? Scoprire i trucchi, i mille oggetti che nasconde? Carpirne i segreti?
Nessun problema: Figaro ci dice esattamente dov’è: nella sua mente. Perché la vera bottega di Figaro è la strada, la realtà che lo circonda. Le persone, gli oggetti e le situazioni in cui si imbatte sollecitano la sua fantasia. Ed egli manipola tutto con arguzia, sapientemente.
Ma come rappresentare tutto questo? Perché quello che mi sembra più interessante non è il luogo fisico, realistico in cui si muovono i diversi personaggi del Barbiere di Siviglia, quanto piuttosto il luogo mentale, meta-teatrale in cui tutto questo si realizza e trova senso: la mente del protagonista.
Sulla scena vedremo la bottega ideale di Figaro: la sua mente, la realtà che lo circonda. Una realtà ricca di oggetti il cui senso verrà svelato via via dal protagonista, secondo l’uso che vorrà farne. Che si tratti di orologi, strumenti da barbiere, guardaroba, libri, rotoli di pergamene, strumenti musicali, la maquette di un teatro, un busto di Rossini, scale, nature morte, sfere di cristallo, piante, le tavole dell’Encyclopédie, quello che importa è che a dare loro un significato, a farle vivere per noi sarà solamente la fervida immaginazione del protagonista.

A real opera show, with professional singers and orchestra, in which the audience will actively participate by singing some arias.
 
The first time we meet Figaro in Rossini's opera we see him running towards his workshop. It's dawn and the new day is about to begin, full of a thousand adventures as always.
Who among us wouldn't want to browse Figaro's workshop? Discover the tricks, the thousand objects that he hides? Understand its secrets?
No problem: Figaro tells us exactly where he is: in his mind. Because the real Figaro workshop is the street, the reality that surrounds it. The people, objects and situations he encounters stimulate his imagination. And he manipulates everything wittily, expertly.
But how to represent all this? Because what seems to me most interesting is not the physical, realistic place in which the various characters of The Barber of Seville move, but rather the mental, meta-theatrical place in which all this takes place and finds meaning: the protagonist's mind.
On stage we will see Figaro's ideal workshop: his mind, the reality that surrounds him. A reality full of objects whose meaning will gradually be revealed by the protagonist, according to the use he wants to make of them. Whether it's clocks, barber's tools, wardrobes, books, rolls of parchment, musical instruments, a maquette of a theater, a bust of Rossini, ladders, still lifes, crystal balls, plants, the tables of the Encyclopédie, that what matters is that to give them a meaning, to make them live for us will be only the fervent imagination of the protagonist.
