Intimate Letters takes you into the inner world of composer Leoš Janáček through his diary fragments and love letters to Kamila Stösslová. 

As the start of a cycle with work by composer Leoš Janáček, a performance is created around diary fragments and love letters from Janáček to Kamila Stösslová, his great muse. His songs and the second string quartet Intieme Brieven are central . 
The songs, sung by a mezzo-soprano and a baritone, are interspersed with autobiographical texts. A quest for the passion that transported man and composer Janáček.

Intieme Brieven neemt u mee in de innerlijke leefwereld van componist Leoš Janáček aan de hand van zijn dagboekfragmenten en liefdesbrieven aan Kamila Stösslová. 

Als aanzet tot een cyclus met werk van componist Leoš Janáček wordt een voorstelling gemaakt rond dagboekfragmenten en liefdesbrieven van Janáček aan Kamila Stösslová, zijn grote muze. Centraal staan zijn liederen en het tweede strijkkwartet Intieme Brieven. 
De liederen, gezongen door een mezzosopraan en een bariton, worden afgewisseld met autobiografische teksten. Een zoektocht naar de passie waardoor de mens en componist Janáček vervoerd werd.
