Opera by M. Mussorgsky is one of the pillars of Russian musical art. The embodiment of this grandiose canvas is not within the power of every troupe in the capital, however, the production team and artists of the Rostov Musical Theater managed to cope with this most difficult task.

The large-scale opera captivated Moscow audiences on tour at the Historical Stage of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia in 2019 and was included in the Long List of the prestigious GOLDEN MASK award. Critics describe the production as "a grandiose piece of music that has become a living exciting story on stage."

Опера М. Мусоргского – один из столпов русского музыкального искусства. Воплощение этого грандиозного полотна под силу далеко не каждой столичной труппе, однако постановочной команде и артистам Ростовского музыкального театра удалось справиться с этой сложнейшей задачей.

Масштабная опера покорила московских зрителей на гастролях на Исторической сцене Большого театра России в 2019 году и попала в Long List престижной премии «ЗОЛОТАЯ МАСКА». Критики отзываются о постановке как о «грандиозном музыкальном произведении, которое стало на сцене живой волнующей историей».
