On August 30, 2022 at the Ancient Theater of Taormina, the prestigious Ukrainian National Theater in Lviv will perform Giacomo Puccini's most famous opera: “Bohème”.
Nothing similar had been written before, a veristic work in which realistic elements abound: unaccompanied declamation passages that follow the inflections of everyday conversations, with a fidelity never achieved by conventional recitative; the integration in the sound painting of extraneous noises, as at the beginning of the third act; the intrusion of the military band, in a tone very different from that of the ensemble in which it is inserted.
Directed by the expert hands of Ivan Cherednichenko, the show will see the famous "bohemians" in the frame of the icy Christmas Eve of 1830 Paris: the poet Rodolfo (Mykhailo Malafi) and the beautiful but unfortunate Mimi (Daria Lytovchenko) will intertwine their destinies , between bright colors, sufferings, disillusionment and hopeless love stories.

Il 30 Agosto 2022 al Teatro Antico di Taormina, il prestigioso Teatro Nazionale ucraino di Leopoli eseguirà l'opera più famosa di Giacomo Puccini: “Bohème”.
Niente di simile era stato scritto prima, opera verista in cui abbondano gli elementi realistici: brani di declamazione senza accompagnamento che seguono le inflessioni delle conversazioni di ogni giorno, con una fedeltà mai raggiunta dal recitativo convenzionale; l'integrazione nella pittura sonora di rumori estranei, come all'inizio del terzo atto; l'intrusione della banda militare, in una tonalità assai distante da quella dell'ensemble in cui si inserisce.
Diretto dalle sapienti mani di Ivan Cherednichenko, lo spettacolo vedrà i celebri “bohemiens” nella cornice della gelida Vigilia di Natale della Parigi del 1830: il poeta Rodolfo (Mykhailo Malafi) e la bella ma sfortunata Mimì (Daria Lytovchenko) intrecceranno così i propri destini, tra colori sgargianti, patimenti, disillusione e storie d’amore senza speranza.
