Esordisce a Sassari - negli annali sardi si registra una sola rappresentazione, ma a Cagliari, agli inizi del diciannovesimo secolo - Cecchina o La buona figliola, dramma giocoso di Nicola Piccinni (1760). Il libretto dell'opera venne scritto da Carlo Goldoni, che si firmò con lo pseudonimo di Polisseno Fegejo. Narra le vicende di Cecchina, una serva del marchese della Conchiglia, di cui è innamorata. Il nobile la ricambia, ma le convenzioni del tempo non consentono che il sentimento prevalga: si scoprirà infine che Cecchina è la figlia di un barone tedesco che l'aveva abbandonata e l'amore potrà quindi trionfare.

He made his debut in Sassari - in the Sardinian annals there is only one performance, but in Cagliari, at the beginning of the nineteenth century - Cecchina or La buona figliola , a playful drama by Nicola Piccinni (1760). The libretto of the opera was written by Carlo Goldoni, who signed himself with the pseudonym of Polisseno Fegejo. It tells the story of Cecchina, a servant of the Marquis della Conchiglia, with whom she is in love. The nobleman reciprocates her, but the conventions of the time do not allow her sentiment to prevail: it will finally be discovered that Cecchina is the daughter of a German baron who had abandoned her and her love can therefore triumph.
