L.A.D. is an anniversary dedication to composer Leonid Desyatnikov. He is commonly called a "popular classical composer," and his music is referred to as postmodernism. These and similar definitions are not quite accurate, and to evaluate Desyatnikov's works, you need to hear them.

Four choreographers staged new ballets to music not intended for the stage. Maxim Petrov is a dancer and choreographer of the Mariinsky Theatre, winner of the "Golden Mask" in 2021. Andrei Kaidanovsky lives in Austria, in recent years he has released several high-profile premieres in Moscow. Maxim Sevagin is the artistic director of the MAMT ballet troupe. Vyacheslav Samodurov is the head of Ural Ballet.

The musical director of the production is Alexei Goribol, pianist and producer, permanent performer of Desyatnikov's music. In Samara, Alexei Goribol performed at the festival "Shostakovich of the twentieth century" in 2021: he and young stars of Russian opera performed rare chamber vocal works by Dmitry Shostakovich and the first notebook of "Jewish Songs" by Mieczyslav Weinberg. The choir of the Shostakovich Opera Ballet Theater will take part in the performance.
