Een bewerking van het derde deel van de Da Ponte Trilogie van Mozart door regisseur Tom Goossens.

 
Le Nozze is na Don Juan en Così het derde deel van de bekende DAPONTETRILOGIE. Een man en een vrouw met levenservaring en een fladderende jongen spreken in een taaltje gebaseerd op Mozart en Da Ponte’s Le Nozze di Figaro. Met enkel de meest essentiële attributen bouwen ze het landgoed en huwelijk op van een graaf en een gravin, hun bedienden en aanverwanten. Om hun liefde nieuw leven in te blazen, verkleedt de gravin zich in de dienster waar de graaf een oogje op heeft. De graaf wil de eerste huwelijksnacht met de dienster doorbrengen en waant zich haar kersverse bruidegom. De jonge Cherubino lijdt aan verliefdheid en moet zich vermommen om de gravin te kunnen blijven zien. Iedereen verkleedt zich als iedereen.

After Don Juan and Così , Le Nozze is the third part of the well-known DAPONTETRILOGY. A man and a woman with life experience and a fluttering boy speak in a language based on Mozart and Da Ponte's Le Nozze di Figaro . Using only the most essential attributes, they build up the estate and marriage of an earl and a countess, their servants and relatives. To rekindle their love, the Countess dresses up as the servant the Count has a crush on. The count wants to spend the first wedding night with the maid and imagines herself to be her new bridegroom. The young Cherubino suffers from infatuation and has to disguise herself in order to keep seeing the countess. Everyone dresses up like everyone else.
