Performed in Italian.

Mozart and Da Ponte thought up the roles in this ingenious jumble of intrigues and counter-intrigues in an original way, and the ensemble stages them carefully: It is a pleasure to hear and see the many duets in changing casts alongside the great arias, which are designed with great attention to detail.
