It would be the story of a woman who changes her life. Or that of a human transformed into a tree. It would also be a violent love story, drawing on "modern environmental science to create a radical and impassioned new myth about our broken relationship with an environment in crisis." It would be above all an opera, resulting from the collaboration of young committed creators.

The Israeli composer Sivan Eldar , before being artist in residence at Ircam, studied music in the United States, without neglecting other subjects: the environment, politics, technology... Born in 1989, the British playwright Cordelia Lynnis already very popular in English theater circles, and, on the opera side, sought out by the great Katie Mitchell, with whom she designed a Tempest that caused a stir.
With the Italian director and scenographer Silvia Costa , they offer, echoing Ovid 's Metamorphoses , a work in which awakening to Nature can only be an intimate event "transcending the natural into the supernatural". Carried by the fiery energy of the Le Balcon ensemble, a sensual and political opera, eternal and ecological.
