For 18 years, Théodorine has been hiding a secret… an incredible, unheard of and completely improbable secret. A well-hidden secret of all the inhabitants of the mysterious Tulipatan Island where misunderstandings and uproar punctuate the delirious days! Until the day when the Duke Cacatois XXII and the Grand Seneschal Romboidal suspect something...

Isolated from the world, on their island in the middle of the ocean, the inhabitants of Tulipatan live trapped in their traditions. Most of them adapt very well to it, the atmosphere is zany and anything absurd can seem normal to them, even singing “coin coin coin” in chorus with their great leader! But others would like to have the audacity to reveal their true nature.

L'Île de Tulipatan , a one-act comic opera, is a unique and amazing musical adventure to enjoy as a family. This new adaptation, participatory, funny and daring, invites young and old to break stereotypes. Still very topical, Offenbach's work joyfully unveils a song to freedom. A model of its kind...

Mais d’autres aimeraient avoir l’audace de révéler leur véritable nature.
