Ein großer Abend, an dem Übermenschliches auf Allzumenschliches trifft: virtuos und erotisch bei Liszt, heilig und sündig bei Wagner. Den Solopart bei Liszt spielt der französische Pianist Alexandre Kantorow. Er gewann 2019 den renommierten Moskauer Tschaikowsky-Wettbewerb, dazu zusätzlich den Grand Prix des Gesamtwettbewerbs. Kantorow trifft auf das SWR Symphonierorchester und den spanischen Dirigenten Pablo Heras-Casado, der sowohl Alte-Musik-Ensembles als auch Sinfonieorchester mit großem Erfolg dirigiert. Heras-Casado hat aufs Programm auch den letzten Parsifal-Akt gesetzt. Die Titelrolle singt der österreichische Star-Tenor Andreas Schager.

La partie solo chez Liszt est jouée par le pianiste français Alexandre Kantorow. En 2019, il a remporté le prestigieux concours Tchaïkovski de Moscou, ainsi que le Grand Prix du concours général. Kantorow rencontrera l'Orchestre symphonique de la SWR et le chef d'orchestre espagnol Pablo Heras-Casado, qui dirige avec grand succès aussi bien des ensembles de musique ancienne que des orchestres symphoniques. Heras-Casado a également inscrit au programme le dernier acte de Parsifal. Le rôle-titre est interprété par le ténor autrichien Andreas Schager.

A great evening where the superhuman meets the all-too-human: virtuosic and erotic in Liszt, sacred and sinful in Wagner. The solo part in Liszt is played by the French pianist Alexandre Kantorow. He won the renowned Moscow Tchaikovsky Competition in 2019, plus the Grand Prix of the overall competition. Kantorow will be joined by the SWR Symphony Orchestra and the Spanish conductor Pablo Heras-Casado, who conducts both early music ensembles and symphony orchestras with great success. Heras-Casado has also included the last act of Parsifal in the programme. The title role is sung by the Austrian star tenor Andreas Schager.
