Η Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Δήμου Θεσσαλονίκης συνοδεύει παιδιά με ιδιαίτερες μουσικές δεξιότητες. Παιδιά τα οποία διαθέτουν ένα τόσο μεγάλο ταλέντο στη μουσική, που από πολύ νωρίς μπορούν να επιτύχουν υψηλές μουσικές επιδόσεις. Παιδιά-θαύματα, όπως συνηθίζεται να ονομάζονται. Μετά από ανακοίνωση της ΣΟΔΘ προς τα ωδεία της χώρας και αφού συγκεντρώθηκαν πολλές συμμετοχές, επιλέχθηκαν έντεκα παιδιά από τη Θεσσαλονίκη, από άλλες πόλεις της Ελλάδας, αλλά και από το εξωτερικό. Οι μικροί ταλαντούχοι μουσικοί θα ερμηνεύσουν με την ορχήστρα μέρη κοντσέρτων, καθώς και σόλο χριστουγεννιάτικες μελωδίες.

The Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki accompanies children with special musical skills. Children who have such a great talent for music that they can achieve high musical performance from a very early age. Child prodigies, as they are commonly called. Following an announcement by SODTH to the conservatories of the country and after many entries were collected, eleven children were selected from Thessaloniki, from other cities in Greece and from abroad. The young talented musicians will perform with the orchestra concertos parts, as well as solo Christmas melodies.
