A modern myth based on the opera by Claudio Monteverdi Musical adaptation and new composition by Michael Wilhelmi Performance in Italian and German with German surtitles World premiere Who else could be the opera's first hero than Orpheus, the ancient mythical singer? For just a moment, he frees his beloved from the underworld before she disappears back into the shadows.
