Luxembourg born pianist is unanimously praised in the international press for his ability to use his formidable instrumental command to deliver intellectually and emotionally balanced interpretations. The famous French pianist Jean-Claude Pennetire, president of the jury of the "Concours Poulenc" said of Muller that "Everything is there: fingers, head and heart". Since 1994 Jean Muller has received numerous awards, including first prizes in the Arcachon, "Jean Francaix" and "Francis Poulenc" competitions. He is also a laureate of the "Tribune International des Jeunes Interprètes" (TIJI) organized by the European Broadcast Union (EBU) in the name of UNESCO. As well as performing for official state visits of Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria-Teresa of Luxemburg, Muller has appeared globally with orchestras such as the Bavarian State Orchestra, the Münchner Symphoniker and the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg. His recordings have also earned plaudits from the industry publications, including Excellentia and Supersonic awards by Pizzicato magazine and Coup de Coer by Piano magazine.
