Seit der Uraufführung 1842 in der Mailänder Scala reist Verdis Meisteroper das Publikum weltweit zu Begeisterungssturmen hin. Wir präsentieren das emotionale Meisterwerk nun als spektakuläre Freilicht-Inszenierung mit berauschenden Arien und großen Chorszenen als besonderes Live-Erlebnis im natürlichen Ambiente des NaturTheaters!

Ort und Zeit der Handlung sind Jerusalem und Babylon 587 v. Chr.. Einerseits geht es um das Streben des jüdischen Volkes nach Freiheit aus der babylonischen Gefangenschaft, andererseits steht die Hybris des Titelhelden im Zentrum, der sich selbst zum Gott machen will, daraufhin mit Wahnsinn geschlagen wird und erst durch seine Bekehrung zum Gott der Hebraer geheilt wird.

Since its premiere in 1842 at La Scala in Milan, Verdi's master opera has accompanied audiences around the world to storms of enthusiasm. We now present the emotional masterpiece as a spectacular open-air production with intoxicating arias and large choral scenes as a special live experience in the natural ambience of the NaturTheater!

The place and time of the action are Jerusalem and Babylon in 587 BC. On the one hand, it is about the Jewish people's striving for freedom from Babylonian captivity, on the other hand, the focus is on the hubris of the title hero, who wants to make himself a god, is then beaten with madness and is only healed by his conversion to the God of the Hebrews.
