Travestiekünstler Amelio von Tschüssikowski ist echt heiß begehrt: Während ihn Filmproduzent Prinz »als Frau« von der Showbühne weg für eine Rolle im nächsten »Tatort« (aber vor allem auf seiner Besetzungscouch!) schnappen will, braucht ihn seine abgebrannte Freundin Marika dringend »als Mann« für eine Alibi-Hochzeit, um sich das Erbe ihrer marzowinisch-orthodoxen Tante zu angeln. Amelios Lebensgefährte Étienne weiß sehr gut, wie schlecht sein Schatz Nein sagen kann, aber ausgerechnet jetzt muss er für ein paar Tage in die USA reisen. Und dann mischt auch noch Amelios ichsüchtige Mutter mit … Klar, dass es da zu allerhand Turbulenzen kommen muss ‒ auf der Bühne, im Bett und sogar in der Kirche!

Nach »Drei Männer im Schnee« kommt jetzt die neue Operette von Musikkabarettist Thomas Pigor! Als Vorlage dient ihm dabei eine französische Bühnen-Farce: »Occupe-toi d’Amélie« (»Kümmere dich um Amélie«) von Komödien-Spezialist Georges Feydeau ist ein langjähriger Hit auf Frankreichs Boulevard-Bühnen und wurde mehrmals verfilmt. Zusammen mit Komponist Konrad Koselleck holt Thomas Pigor die verrückt-rasante Komödie ins Hier und Jetzt, mit viel Musik und einem wilden Spiel mit Geschlechter-Stereotypen, getreu dem Vaudeville-Motto: »Es geht um Unterhaltung und sonst nichts!«

Travesty artist Amelio von Tschüssikowski is in great demand: While film producer Prinz wants to grab him "as a woman" from the show stage for a role in the next "Tatort" (but above all on his cast couch!), his burnt-out girlfriend Marika urgently needs him "as a Mann« for an alibi marriage in order to fish for the inheritance of her Marzovinian Orthodox aunt. Amelio's partner Étienne knows very well how bad his sweetheart is at saying no, but now of all times he has to travel to the USA for a few days. And then Amelio's selfish mother is also involved... Of course there must be all kinds of turbulence - on stage, in bed and even in church!

After "Three Men in the Snow" comes the new operetta by music cabaret artist Thomas Pigor! It is based on a French stage farce: »Occupe-toi d'Amélie« (»Take care of Amélie«) by comedy specialist Georges Feydeau is a long-standing hit on France's tabloid stages and has been filmed several times. Together with composer Konrad Koselleck, Thomas Pigor brings the crazy, fast-paced comedy into the here and now, with lots of music and a wild game with gender stereotypes, true to the Vaudeville motto: "It's about entertainment and nothing else!"
